Brett Carter is a partner at Benson, Bertoldo, Baker & Carter, having joined the firm in 1996. He received a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and then graduated with his Juris Doctorate from the Willamette University School of Law. During his studies at Willamette, Brett also attended William and Mary Law School’s international studies through the University of London-Exeter.
Brett has chosen to devote himself solely to the practice of personal injury law, particularly vehicular negligence, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, products liability and negligent security. His practice ranges from those individuals who have suffered relatively minor injuries to those who have had their lives permanently and catastrophically altered as a result of another’s negligence. Typical cases consist of one or more of the following: traumatic spinal injury, traumatic brain injury, fractures, traumatic amputation, wrongful death, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, Chronic Pain Syndrome, disfigurement and other acute injuries or conditions.
Brett is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a prestigious group of attorneys nationwide who have obtained a verdict or settlement in excess of a million dollars. He is also a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, Nevada State Bar and Clark County Bar Association.
Brett has been a resident of Nevada since 1988. He lives with his wife and two children. Brett chose the profession of law to serve people who have been traumatized by the carelessness of others. He is tireless in the representation of his clients, and spares no effort in providing the highest quality of legal services available.
