Boy Injured in Las Vegas Auto Accident

Police are investigating a Las Vegas auto accident that left a 5-year-old by severely injured. The boy was hit by an SUV just west of the Las Vegas strip.

According to reports, the boy ran in front of a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer from behind two parked cars in an alley way. The driver of the SUV, Sarahi Garcia-Colmenero, 31, wasn’t able to stop in time, and collided with the boy.

Injured Boy Taken to Hospital for Traumatic Injuries

The boy, whose name has not been released, was taken to University Medical Center’s trauma unit where he was treated for serious injuries.

According to police, the accident is still under investigation. They are investigating to determine whether Garcia-Colmenero is liable for the boy’s injuries.
